Ginter Gathering/Performance 20150607

On Sunday June 7th Jose Delgado-Guevara hosted a “never-done-before” performance in the ruins of the Ginter’s home at Ginter’s off leash dog park in Prince George. My wife and I attended the visual performance and enjoyed the sounds, the sights and the people (all of which were well behaved ;-). I brought along my camera and took a bunch of pictures. I’m thrilled with some, but I am pleased with others – even surprised as the concept I was thinking of at the time seems to have worked fairly well. Here are a few images for you (I’ve made them smaller as I’ve noticed my large images take a while to appear in a slide show) the rest are on my flickr share at http://www.flickr.com/photos/kwgagel.

Bush Walk – May 2nd, 2012

I took our dog for a walk through Ginter’s field and off into the bushes. Well, perhaps I should say I took the dog with me while my camera and I went for a walk! I wanted to capture birds but didn’t have much luck finding any! Danny and I did enjoy the bush, it gets pretty quite in there. I could here birds wasn’t spotting them. Till I looked up that is… Go figure! The trees are so much higher up there and the distance to the birds makes them harder to spot so the pictures I did manage to get were either to distant or just ended up being blurry enough to toss out.

Still – I got a couple of images I’m pleased with.
